Welcome from our chairman

Welcome to the Oscotian Society! Our charity was established on 26th June 1861 to bolster the apostolate of priestly formation which St Mary’s College, Oscott has tirelessly contributed to the Catholic Church in England, Wales, Scotland and further afield for nigh on two centuries.
Through tangible, monetary grants to the seminary community, and the cultivation of an ‘old boys’ network predicated on fraternity, piety and good works, we hope to build the Kingdom of God today, celebrating the formidable legacy of those who came before us.
Mindful of the rich and illustrious history of Oscott College, we cherish the memories of the past as we accompany the diocesan priests of the future, offering them every support and encouragement as they take their first steps into the wonderful adventure of pastoral ministry.
We thank you for your interest in our society and would gratefully receive any donations which directly support the spiritual and human wellbeing of our wonderful seminarians, who offer such courageous witness in an increasingly hostile and indifferent culture.
