About discernment weekends

If you are discerning the priesthood, these weekends are designed for you to experience the spirit of seminary life. Over a weekend, you will be a part of our routine of prayer and of our general seminary timetable. This should help you to discern whether you could live and train here.

You will get to meet the seminarian community of staff and students and see where we live, study and pray. It is also a great opportunity to meet others who are discerning the priesthood and asking the same questions. We limit our weekends to small groups of around ten men.

How to join

We do not advertise dates for our discernment weekends and the only way to attend is through your vocations director. They will decide when it would be best for you to join us for one of these weekends.

You do not have to be sure that you are applying for the priesthood to join us for a discernment weekend, but you should be seriously considering it.
