What we offer

Our annual schools outreach programme takes place in June every year and over 800 Year 6 children from schools in the Archdiocese of Birmingham visit us for a day of varied activities. They learn about the Holy Mass, about prayer, about the idea of God’s call in their life and about our life in the college. They also have an opportunity to ask any questions they like!

These days are always led by the seminarians themselves and is an opportunity for schoolchildren to have a tour of the college, join us for Mass and explore our museum, among various other activities.

We hope that the time they spend with us introduces the idea of vocation into their lives and invites them to the truth that God is calling each of them to something very special, whether priesthood, religious life, single life or marriage.

Our museum

Established in 1839 by renowned, Gothic-revivalist architect Augustus Welby Pugin, our museum collection tells the story of the college and the Victorian Catholic revival.

What’s in the museum

The Glancey Library

Containing over 40,000 catalogued physical items, this library is the main library of the college and is largely made up of texts covering the Church and general history, theology and philosophy.
